Which former 1st Round Pick will have more success: Barron or Carriker?
I say Carriker, mainly because he's played under Haslett before and he was playing out of position. He didn't fit Spags system, so he was traded away, which is fine. What do you think?

If Barron is motivated into loving football more than the "vile weed" he'll play for ten more years.
Patient, not saintly.

Hate to say it, but Barron. I don't think Carriker can play in the league.

I believe that Adam Carriker will have the better career than Barron because It wasn't lack of motivation or committment to excelling that sidelined him but the shoulder injury in the late 2009 pre-season that gave him the illusion of being a bust. Personallly I would have like to have seen him stay with us to see what a healthy more experienced player in Spags system would have yielded. Barron I think showed already his lack of attention and although he did a decent job last year we need more than a decent job for Bradford or any other QB to have success this year.

Exactly. Carriker gave it his all. Injuries were a big part into why his tenure as a Ram wasn't great. We already know what Barron brings to the table, which is an OT that can block but doesn't love the game. I'm fine with Spags bringing in his players as long as the Rams win more games or show improvement.

If Barron plays, and the Cowboys win a lot of games, he'll get a great deal of praise and credit, even if his play is no better than it was in St. Louis.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

We know from experience that Barron is at least alot more durable than Carriker. Based on that alone I'll go with Barron.

I agree with you about Adam, what a bust!
I see Barron helping Romo and the Cowboys go further in the playoffs, maybe to the SB.
The Rams maybe should have tought twice before giving up on Barron. An experienced offensive lineman may have benefit Bradford more as he adapts to the NFL. Cowboys got a good deal, Barron, a legit starting OT for a 2nd tier LB (Barbie Carpenter).[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Re: Which former 1st Round Pick will have more success: Barron or Carriker?
depends on if AC can stay healthy..he`s gonna finally play in the position he should have been drafted to play.
if it`s judged by how many Pop bowls they go to then it`s certain to be Barron..regardless of how they both perform.
though i dont know how one can compare O-linemen to D-linemen fairly.
e.g. if an OT is beaten by the D-linemen four or five times a game,he is seen to have had a poor game...
if a D-linemen gets beaten 60 plus times but beats the O-lineman four or five times and makes good plays with those opputunities,he is seen to have had a good game.
