Fox Sports exploring pregame show options

Andrew Marchand, of the New York Post, reports Fox Sports is still exploring options to be the host of their Sunday NFL pregame show. They are considering Pam Oliver and also giving some thought to the idea of having lead play-by-player Joe Buck lead the program. Fox Sports executives have considered two scenarios for Buck. Since Fox is very happy with Buck and Troy Aikman on its lead NFL broadcast team, executives have played with the non-traditional format of having Buck host from the site of the game he is calling. Fox also could stay conventional and move Buck into its Hollywood studios with Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long and Jimmy Johnson. If it did that, it would have to find a new lead play-by-player. Fox is planning to make a decision by the end of July or early August. James Brown, who was Fox Sports host, has moved to CBS to steer the NFL Today.

Re: Fox Sports exploring pregame show options
Joe Buck is truly an amazing announcer. He can call baseball just as well as football and is very entertaining doing both sports. A chip off the ol' block for sure. I think they should leave he and Aikman alone and axe Collinsworth.

I think that they should conventional with Terry, Howie, Jimmie, and then add Pam.
