    Fred Taylor signed by Patriots

    Patriots agreed to terms with RB Fred Taylor on an undisclosed contract.

    Bill Belichick likes hungry veterans who are desperate for a championship. Taylor is not that useful on third downs or short-yardage, but he's a threat to steal early down carries from Laurence Maroney and company. With that said, Taylor won't be guaranteed any role and the Patriots will be careful with his carries. As part of a committee, he's unlikely to be a consistent fantasy option.
    i dont like this, as he is still a pretty good back, the best they have had for a few seasons
    it is a good signing by them though
