Giants signed FB Madison Hedgecock to a five-year extension through 2012.
The Rams made a mistake by waiving Hedgecock iin September, and he's proven to be valuable as both a special teamer and battering ram in front of Brandon Jacobs for New York. The Giants' seventh-ranked run offense is currently averaging 137.8 yards-per-game behind the 270-pound Hedgecock.

I wonder who wrote that, any idea RW?

I have seen a few Giants games with Hedgecock and I watched him get pushed around and acutally pushed into the backfield. It didn't look good.

I also watched him drop a pass that was right in his hands.

I didn't notice him on special teams so I can't comment.

I'm still wondering where Owens is for us, so even though Hedge didn't impress me much when I saw him play for the Giants, I guess the Giants like him. At this point since Owens is invisible and Hedge is actually playing we should have kept him.
