Re: Go Bears Baby!!!
How ironic that the Seahawks, who have made a living squeaking out wins with game-winning field goals, now lose in the playoffs to a game-winning field goal by Chicago.
I'll give them credit though, Seattle got further than I thought they would with the Alexander and Hass injuries.

Bears Beat Shehawks 27-24 in OT
The Shehawks put up a great effort, but Robbie Gould kicked a 49 yard FG in OT to clinch the win. Holmgren still looks like a pear-shaped loser - only now with a red face.

Re: Go Bears Baby!!!
The Shehawks did put up a better effort than what I thought they would.

Re: Go Bears Baby!!!

I didn't buy him as a quarterback. He's just so stiff, especially when he drops back to pass. Really stiff. He reminds me of Kurt Warner.

Seehaws -- "a team of destiny". Nice.
Thanks DaBears. You gave the Sawks a taste of their own medicine w/that WFG.

Re: Go Bears Baby!!!
So who do you root for, if you root for, a team to represent the NFC?

Re: Go Bears Baby!!!
Nice effort by the Seahawks, but in the end they get a taste of their own medicine. How dominant would the Bears be if Rex Grossman could stay on an even keel? His inconsistent play must drive Bears fans crazy. He better be on top of his game against the Saints.

Re: Go Bears Baby!!!
Ahhh. Such hate. Still, I couldn't be prouder. I never had delusions of making the Super Bowl with all these injuries but it was nice to be so competitive. Here's to next year and a stronger NFC West, fellas. Cheers.

Re: Go Bears Baby!!!
I wouldn't say hate, but certainly a strong dislike.

Re: Go Bears Baby!!!
Good game Seahawks.
I had mixed feelings:
I wanted the Seahawks to win only to represent the NFC West
and
I wanted the Bears to win because I hate Seattle.
So I came out happy

Re: Go Bears Baby!!!
Well said, Ant. You've always represented your team well here in this forum made up of adversaries and your positive attitude and optimism are true and classy.
As for hate, no; we are, again, just serious opponents. The NE Pats -- now there's a team I love to hate!
Best wishes to you this year & the Seahawks, except when we meet in battle. :r
