what an insane amount for anyone..let alone a fat guy who could balloon with that extra doughnut funds and a player that not so long ago was deemed an "headcase" after his head kicking incident.
not saying he didnt have a great season last year!
but still..

I never understood how the Skins could throw so much money at free agents year after year. But Dc still remains to be where old Rams go to die... They can't buy a Championship....

that is stupid money,I don't care if he makes 20 tackles a game, which he won't,but no d-lineman should be paid that.

They backload all of their big contracts... it never turns out to be as much money as it looks on the surface:
Redskins | Haynesworth owed $29 million in fifth year of contract
Fri, 27 Feb 2009 19:26:47 -0800
ESPN.com reports Washington Redskins DT Albert Haynesworth's contract includes a "poison pill" in the fifth year that effectively makes his deal with the team a four-year, $48 million contract. Haynesworth would be owed a lump sum of $29 million in salary and bonuses in 2013. It is unlikely the team would pay the full commitment of $100 million over seven years unless the contract is re-negotiated.
