Holmgren done after 2006?
Seahawks | Holmgren undecided on his future
Sun, 26 Feb 2006 08:54:41 -0800
Mike Sando, of the Tacoma News Tribune, reports Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Holmgren is undecided on if he will return to coaching after the 2006 season. Holmgren says he will not coach elsewhere in 2007. He said, "If I make a decision like that, it will not be a business decision for this franchise. It won't be to go coach another team. Absolutely it won't be that."
Re: Holmgren done after 2006?
It seems strange to me that he would step out now that Seattle is performing well. They should be able to make a few adjustments and stay competitive, provided that Shaun Alexander does not split.

Maybe he knows something we don't know.

I am sure that he knows many things that we don't know.
I think I heard that he is on the "competition committee" today on NFL network. He was pretty upset with the officials in the Super Bowl. Who knows maybe there are some pride and ethical issues related to the NFL tossing around in his head.

There's something tossing around in his head because he resigned from the Competition Committee on Friday.

That is not a good sign for the NFL.

No it isn't. One of the premiere coachs retiring at a young age?
