Holt limited to once-a-day practices due to knee
Quote:
Guard Vince Manuwai, cornerback Scott Starks, wide receiver Torry Holt and safety Sean Considine did not participate in practice. Manuwai and Starks are in ACL comebacks and, along with Holt (knee), will practice once a day this week. Considine is said to have reported to training camp with a slight calf sprain. He has been placed on the “physically unable to perform” list and Del Rio said he expected Considine to be removed from that list in a few days.
From the Jaguars official website. Not entirely surprising, since I seem to remember the knee issue being described as something Holt would have to deal with and manage the rest of his career. We'll see how it affects his play in Jacksonville.
Re: Holt limited to once-a-day practices due to knee
His knee slowed him down last year, but he kept playing through it. At his age, he could be one of those guys that plays on Sunday, and then takes it very easy/heals the rest of the week.
