Seahawks | Hutchinson to receive transition tag

Mike Sando, of the Tacoma News Tribune, reports the Seattle Seahawks have informed OLG Steve Hutchinson that he will have the team's transition tag placed on him. The team is expected to make an announcement soon.

not exactly. A transition tag is not nearly as costly to overcome as a franchise tag. This just means the Hawks can match any offer to Hutchinson.

It also means that if you sign him, it doesnt cost you draft picks if seattle doesnt match. let the bidding begin! Run up the hawks cap.
