    Who does the playcalling for those 20-40 yard passes? Don't you think you would start calling some screens? I suppose Martz was not responsible for Warner or Bulger taking the hits they did either?


    I bet Spags and Shurmur would love to have the offense the Rams had then with 5 to 6 Probowl Hall of Fame offensive players in their prime.

    The problem is that those 20-40 yard passes weren't all the options he had. He could have easily thrown to a guy (on at least two plays that I saw where it was glaringly obvious) who was wide open 8 yards away and running right across the middle of the field. Instead, he just held onto the ball and held onto the ball and then got sacked.
