You are lucky KH that I like you. I was ready to ax this thread  :D
But seeing how I know you are not meaning this as smack ....
I can't watch any interviews or live stuff with Alexander because he is a total goofball and I get embarrassed for the guy.
Great running back, horrible at expressing himself.
Smack talk? Me? Never...well almost never :<>
seriously, it was meant as informational.
I like how you capitalized the "great" part of your title, but be careful they don't like using that word in here.
I think I have heard of Shaun Alexander before....yes he sounds quite familiar. hehehe
For a minute, I was thinking Alexander was going to be introducing Faulk...:D
Ive seen better...........
Whether or not we like to admit it, Alexander is a very impressive RB. However, Mike Tyson was a very impressive boxer once but I didn't like listening to his interviews either.
With Alexander on the cover of madden and all will his season end like most others on the cover? I don't believe in curses but for some reason these guy's on the cover just are never the same again!
Well, it's not likely that he'll match his last year's performance of 1880 yards and 28 TDs, so anything would probably be a drop-off from that. Whether you want to attribute that to the Madden Curse or being a year older or whatever, I wouldn't read much into. How low would he have to drop to have a "bad" year? 1500 yards? 20 TDs?
Great? He is a good running back. He was always overrated. He had a great Leftside on the Oline with Hutchinson and Jones. He lost Hutchinson so that puts a huge dent over there. But yea a Good Runningback.
I guess you could make the argument that he is just a good running back, but after getting the 9th highest season rushing total ever as well as the highest season TD total in NFL history, it's pretty hard for me at least to not give him the nod as a great running back. His first 6 years have been as good or better than most NFL greats. It will be interesting to see how the departure of Hutchinson will affect his numbers, but my guess is he'll still get big time stats.Quote:
