Impact of Steve McNair on the Ravens

What type of impact will McNair have now that he is a member of the Baltimore Ravens? The Ravens think he is the final piece of the SuperBowl puzzle, what do you guys think?

Re: Impact of Steve McNair on the Ravens

Steve McNair and Derrick Mason have worked well together before, and there is a lot of talent on that team. On the other hand, Jamal Lewis didn't look that great last year, and even the defense wasn't as dominant as it has been in years past. If Lewis and Lewis get rolling again, they're going to be tough, but they're still in a division with the Steelers and Bengals. All in all, I'd say McNair makes them more competitive, but they'll be lucky to get into the playoffs.

The Ravens traded a 4th round pick for him yesterday. The deal is done pending a physical.

Impact of Steve McNair on the Ravens?

It will make them better at the quarterback position.

Seriously though, they have more areas to be concerned with than just QB, so it's hard to imagine them gaining significant ground on the Steelers or Bengals.

Re: Impact of Steve McNair on the Ravens

This'll help em out a lot, with good WRs, a good TE and a good QB.

Re: Impact of Steve McNair on the Ravens

I think they should have stuck with Kyle Boller for another year or half year. He seemed to show some flashes at the end of the season last year.

Re: Impact of Steve McNair on the Ravens

Mcnair is one of the most overrated qb's I've ever seen. They should stick with Boller instead of this overrated has been who never really was.
