Interesting NFC matchup this Sunday
The (6-3) Detroit Lions host the (6-3) New York football Giants.
The Lions are (4-0) at home and the GMEN are (3-1) on the road.
Both teams are coming into this game after a loss last Sunday.
The Gmen are a 3 point favorite.
**** The Lions have allowed 40 sacks, most in the NFL****
**** The Gmen have sacked the opposing QB 31 times, most in the NFL****
3 questions:
1. Who wins the game?
2. How many sacks will the Gmen have?
3. Will Jon Kitna play the whole game?

Re: Interesting NFC matchup this Sunday
I'd be surprised if the Giants didn't win this one. Even though they have a good record, I still don't see the Lions as a good team. I say 5 sacks for the GMen.

I didn't buy him as a quarterback. He's just so stiff, especially when he drops back to pass. Really stiff. He reminds me of Kurt Warner.

Detroit is good at home. They got embarrassed at Arizona and if the Cowboys torched that secondary watch out for the Lions.

Detroit is a pretender IMO, but they certainly have a chance to prove me wrong. In addition to the Giants, they get a shot a Green Bay twice, Dallas and San Diego to finish out the season. Lucky them.
