Jets are in BIG trouble
Both Chad Pennington and Kevin Mawae are reportedly rejecting the Jets' proposal to take pay cuts. In other news, they've franchised John Abraham.
Let the Abraham-for-Rivers trade rumors start once again!

Re: Jets are in BIG trouble
Do you think maybe Chad Pennington would be better off on another team?

Chad Pennington should retire. He is no good anymore. Never was IMO.

Um, really? He has a career QB rating of 92.1 and in the two seasons where he played more than 10 games, he put up very good numbers. Pennington is a good quarterback when he's on the field. He just can't stay on the field.

People thought he was much better than bulger at one time. Those people were recently sighted chewing on peyote. I have to admit, i loved hearing the jets fans chanting C-H-A-D chad chad chad.

Re: Jets are in BIG trouble
Well, let me tell ya, they are both fragile. Our qb, has the excuse that our OL was more like a turnstile instead of a wall, and his injury came trying to block a LB.
Chad on the other hand got injured while he was sacked.
But, and this nobody remembers, he had 5 or 6 fumbles on wk 1 against . . . . KC (damn, now is where Edwards is . . . coincidence?)
Marc Bulger is way better than Chad (and I like Chad). In fact there are only a few QB better than him. He'll eventually have a breaktrhu season and will lead us deep in the post season. Of course don't expect the media to set up a circus around him like they do with vick and mcnabb
