Jets claim Brook Foster off waivers

Wide receiver Brooks Foster was claimed off waivers today by the New York Jets, a league source with knowledge of the situation confirmed.

They also signed safety Keith Fitzhugh and placed offensive lineman Adam Tadish and wide receiver Vic Hall on waivers.

Cut on Monday, Foster is a former St. Louis Rams fifth-round draft pick who spent last season on injured reserve due to an ankle problem.

This is Fitzhugh's second stint with the Jets.

Fitzhugh was signed by the Jets as an undrafted rookie out of Mississippi State and spent time with the Baltimore Ravens and the Jets' practice squads.
