John Lynch
The Patriots have released S John Lynch, I think this would be a great addition to the secondary for the Rams. Probably not an every down player but, would give some depth and this guy still brings fear to anyone going across the middle. Any thoughts?

2 teams didn't just cut him in a span of 3 weeks for nothing...

Re: John Lynch
Lynch has been a great Safety in this league for many years. It just concerns me that he has been released by 2 teams this off-season. I'm not so sure he has much left in the tank. I think he'd be most productive as a position coach.
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!!

Re: John Lynch
The guy was great in his prime...... Today he could not cover my 2 year old. The game has passed him as a player it's time for him to move on...

Re: John Lynch
Lynch could be a viable option for him, it's a matter of playing time, that's why he was released by the Broncos. Not because he couldn't play but because they didn't feel he deserved as much playing time, and he did. If he's getting 10 reps a game I'm cool with that.

Re: John Lynch
10 reps of what??? Either the guy can play or not.... If the knucle head in New England could not find a role for him I doubt he can be of use to us.....

Re: John Lynch
Lynch has about as much left in the tank as archuletta. Next stop for Lynch is canton. What a terrific player and a great competitor.

Re: John Lynch
Actually,
The word here in Patriots Country is that the Pats didn't want to guarantee Lynch a veterans full season salary. If he was on their opening day 53 man roster he would have been entitled to just that. By waiting until game two of the season and then bringing Lynch back the Pats will have the upper hand as far as salary is concerned. ***RUMOR*** They do intend on bringing him back.
***RUMOR #2***
The New York Jets have been talking to Lynch and may in fact bring him on and add him to their 53 man roster. Thus thwarting the Patriots plans for Lynch.
