Jonathon Wade running w/ first team
Per rotoworld:
Jonathan Wade ended OTA season running with the Lions' first-team defense at cornerback.
Wade was a major liability in three years as a Ram, so the Lions hope 66th overall pick Amari Spievey wins the job. Chris Houston appears to be locked in on the other side. Spievey reportedly earned "a little more confidence" from the coaching staff at the end of OTAs, but still has "a long way to go.

That secondary's got to be hurting. Here's hoping Sam/A.J. torches him in week 5!

Re: Jonathon Wade running w/ first team
It's going to be interesting to see how Jahvid Best develops for the Lions, because they really could have gone a couple other directions with that selection rather than trade up for the runner. But they took advantage of a deep DB class by taking the explosive runner first and then dipping into the secondary in the third round. We'll see how it works out for them, but I don't think they'll be very happy if they have to start Wade this year.
