I think this would b a good pickup, and an upgrade, what are your thoughts.

He's probably one of the better names available at this point.

If the Rams do sign him, it'll be interesting from a draft perspective. In the 2004 draft, I think a lot of people thought the Cowboys might take Steven Jackson with the 22nd pick, but they traded it to Buffalo and then spent their second round pick on... Julius Jones.

If the word around the league is that he is still in fine condition, he sounds like the best available, but who knows till he suits up.

Actually he wasn't released, just took a pay cut, so he is not available.
