Wow. I am shocked by this. He seemed to be well balanced but we really do not know these guys other then what we see them do on any given Sunday. RIP Jr and thanks for all of the memories.........you were a top player for many years. I am in Hawaii right now and toast him later today.........

Re: Junior Seau
Wow I hate to hear that... even if you are considered successful as many people would think you can still fall victim to depression or bad thoughts. RIP Junior I used to love watching you play and used to try and emmulate your play growing up into college. Prayers to your family..

Re: Junior Seau
There has to be more to this .... so sad.
R.I.P. Mr. Seau.If a team won their division seven straight times, that would be a NFL record. Now add on that team did it with seven different QB's in seven straight years, that record is unbeatable. To do that feat, you must of had a great Defense. Jack Youngblood was the captain of that defense.

Re: Junior Seau
Seau, great person / player throughout his NFL career. Always passionate and dedicated, a real Pro LB. This man was even altruistic.
Respectful sympathies to his family, especially his dear mom. May God give her strength and consolation in this time of loss and grief.
[I wonder if this tragedy was similar to Dave Duerson's in terms of mental disorders.]

Re: Junior Seau
He was one of best LB's in the time period I was growing up, in terms of both on and off the field behavior. First class human being, very sorry to see something like this happen.

Re: Junior Seau
This totally blows . . . .
It is such a sad shame that a class act like Junior, felt that there way no way out other than to take his life. This has really saddened me today.
My heart and sympathies go out to his entire family, and especially his kids if he had them.
R.I.P brother, thank you for the memories.
Heaven just upgraded at line backer.
