Kurt Warner update:
40/57 452 2 TD 3 INT 84.8 rating (5 sacks, 4 fumbles, 3 lost)
Well, the bugaboo reared it's ugly head again. The first 3 weeks of mistake free ball all washed away in an afternoon. Actually, he still wasn't just dropping the ball the Jets just had the luxury of essentially knowing that he had to pass and going for strips. Warner will always be more of a target of that approach and defense are wise to try and exploit the weakness.
He did come back strong in the game and did well in a pass friendly situation in the 2nd half. Jets went prevent and Warner, along with an onside kick, led 5 TD drives in the 2nd half. Anquan Boldin getting knocked out put a damper on any silver lining the offense might have gained though and overall, it was a total debacle. Warner will have to have a good game next week just to keep his job. If the Cardinals lose, he may not even keep it then.

Kurt Warner update:
33/42 250 2 TD 0 INT (0 Fumbles) 107.3 rating.
A nice bouceback from last week's debacle in New York. Perhaps the coaching staff is starting to further incorporate what Warner likes to do rather than the strict, close to the vest approach of the first few weeks.
For the second week in a row, Warner completed 70%+ of his passes and has 2+ TD's in 12 of 13 games. During that streak (13 games) he has 31 TD and 16 INT. If he can stay healthy and close out his career with these kinds of numbers, the HOF may not be as far fetched as it once seemed.
It would really be something for a QB to lead the post 90's Rams and the Cardinals to the post season.

Warner update:
After Brees' game on MNF dropped his rating from 106.9 to 97.7, Warner is the #1 rated QB in the NFC, 3rd overall. Brees was missing 3 of his starting WR's so it's a bit unfair for him to go against Minnesota so short handed.
Also, Warner is in desperate need of the bye week with his chin and finger so the Dallas game is going to be tough. It will be tough for him to a) keep up his current production and b) make it to the finish line. But, it's not too shabby that he's at the top after 5 games. Of the NFC. Third overall.

Re: Kurt warner
In football, there are certain things you can't train or buy... the basic aspects of being a "winner" is one of them.
Whomever takes over the Rams front office, I hope they focus on finding people of character who are "winners", and focus on locking them in for the long haul.
Our team will be better off for it.
Those who forget the lessons taught by past mistakes are doomed to continue repeating those mistakes.
