Lance Briggs
Briggs signs a 1 year deal with bears that makes sure the bears cant hit him with the franchise tag next year that means he can leave through free agency next year. If we have enough money what do you guys think.

Re: Lance Briggs
This year hasn't even started, there is no point in thinking about free agency next year.

Re: Lance Briggs
I'll take a wait and see approach. I wouldn't trade for him now, and if we did sign him we'd have a lot of the cap sunk into our linebackers. We're going to need to see how the players we've got play before we can be sure what our priorities are going to be in the off-season. We'll also have to look at what other players are available, what the cap is going to be, etc. I wouldn't rule it out, but it's way to early to say.
