Before everyone freaks out, it's not the QB either ...
6 rec. 110 yards ....
Not the OC, but WRs are defiantly a main problem here.
What does one good game mean?
Hes still not a good receiver and hes only getting playing time because of injury.
He can get those looks only because he has a legit number one receiver opposite him. Our roster is full of twos and threes.
How about Bobby Carpenter (the guy we traded Barron for) coming up with a monster play in that game as well.
Laurent Robinson has the benefit of people like Dez Bryant and Jason Witten to take attention away from him. It's not that Robinson was ever a bad WR, and he flashed some skills while with the Rams. But he couldn't stay healthy
I'm happy for Bobby Carpenter though. The guy was given tons of crap by the Cowboys fans for years, who called him "Barbie" Carpenter as a reference to his soft play. Nice to see him score on his former team and shut those guys up.
Look up Jewrell Thomas and get back to me.
I remember him; he was a RB from San Jose State that played for the Rams eons ago (well, it seems like it anyway).
Not sure what you are trying to say with regards to Thomas unless you are referring to the fact that he rushed for a ton of yards his first 2 or 3 games and then dropped off the radar.
Is that your prediction for L. Robinson also? If so, I'm not sure I agree. Robinson - even with all of his issues - has been in the league for awhile now whereas Thomas was pretty much done after a couple of years.
So am I on the right track or what?
WHAT SAY YE?
The point is that one game does not make a career.
Were we? I don't agree. He's having success because he is not being asked to be a # 1 wide receiver. That's what he was asked to do here and he sucked at it.
Exactly,we asked him to be a #1 so he saw #1 coverage and isnt good enough to beat that like he is doing in dallas beating 2's n 3's.If we could of had him as a 3 he might have been able to do this over here.Plus not to mention he wasnt exactly always healthy...hmm not healthy in St Louis but leaves and not an injury on the season unless im mistaken...lol yea its something in the water alright haha.
So I'm watching the boys' game and watching Laurant actually making an impact and playing well making plays. Where was this when he was on the rams? This makes me question our coaching and wonder what other players are better than we expected. What do you guys think?
