Lions fans fed up with their team
Apparently, a fair share of Lions fans are fed up with their team. Of course, a history of bad football will do that to ya....
Here's a comment I copied and pasted from the Lion Fanatics web site and message board.
"NFL owners want to tame excessive celebrations in the end zone, they voted to outlaw the use of props that wouldn't normally be found in the end zone, such as cellphones, Sharpies and members of the Detroit Lions."
Hysterical.

That is hysterical, pretty witty too. Life has definitely been tough for Lions fans since Barry left town.

Re: Lions fans fed up with their team
But what about the Martz offense? Wasn't this to be the year the Loins breakout? Why hasn't the offense started putting up 30+ points a game?

Re: Lions fans fed up with their team
According to Roy Williams, "I'm just saying that when we play the way we are supposed to play, there's not a defense in the NFL that is going to stop us. If we play that way against the Bears, and we should, we'll win. It was stupid how close we were to putting 40 points on the board."
They lost that game 34-7.

[QUOTE][I don't know what Roy Williams is on but I'd like to get some /QUOTE]
He probably got it from Terrence Kiel.

Re: Lions fans fed up with their team
They should be fed up:
0 winning seasons in the past 6 years
.253 winning % since 2001
1 10+ win season in the past 13 years
1 playoff win in the past 53 years
I can't believe they make it through the day sober."Before the gates of excellence the high gods have placed sweat; long is the road thereto and rough and steep at first; but when the heights are reached, then there is ease, though grievously hard in the winning." --- Hesiod

Re: Lions fans fed up with their team
The Lions biggest mistake this offseason was not firing Matt Millen. I think Mooch needed to go, too, but I think Millen was the bigger problem.

I didn't buy him as a quarterback. He's just so stiff, especially when he drops back to pass. Really stiff. He reminds me of Kurt Warner.
