The Detroit Lions have announced the team has signed unrestricted free agent DT Tyoka Jackson (Rams) to a two-year deal. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Is there a Rams free agent that Mike Martz hasnt signed yet? Arlen Harris, Rex Tucker, Mike Furrey and now Jackson have all followed Martz to Detroit

Looks like Martz has some pull over there in Detroit. Jackson and Martz were obviously close and Harris, Tucker and Furry will no doubt be assests in helping the Lion players learn the Martz system.

Well, Tyoka was with the Buccaneers from 1996-2000, and Rod Marinelli was the D-line coach during that time, so the connection is not just Martz alone.
