Not that I'm a big fan of "Marty-ball"....but it's the the entire Chargers' organization that is dysfunctional. Always has been.

The Spanos family has always been second-rate as far as owners go, that's why Eli Manning refused to play there.

No matter who they bring in to coach, they will never hoist the trophy.

Smith & Marty couldn't get along what makes anyone think that Martz is going to get along with Smith & the front office.

According to nfl.com, the Chargers are going to interview four candidates (for now):

whiners OC - Norv Turner
whiners Asst. HC - Mike Singletary
Bears DC - Ron Rivera
Ravens DC - Rex Ryan

Dream scenario:

Chargers hire Norv Turner as HC and Mike Singletary as DC. That would force the Niners to scramble to replace two key coaches.

I hope Turner gets the job; that way the ***** have to search for a new OC and will have to learn a new system.

He may very well be but I was thinking the Chargers would rather have an experienced HC to take over this job. I don't think they want a rookie HC learning on the job with a championship caliber team. I actually think that Dan Reeves would be a good choice.
