    Marvin Harrison asks for release

Uh, yes please. With Ike gone and Torry uncertain (along with the majority of the receiver corps), this would be an amazing pickup.

hmmm ..im not sure who would offer us the more in production at this point of their Careers..id prefer a hungry youngster over the great Marvin Harrison because i think we`d be paying for the name but not getting the player..the real Marvin Harrison that is nailed down to go to Canton wouldnt be allowed to leave Indy, let alone come to us!

How is this an amazing pickup? Harrison and Holt are pretty much the same guy at this point in their career. We can find a better guy in the draft. Hakeem Nicks for example in round 2.

Plus, Harrison is probably going to want a lot of money to start off with. If nobody takes him for that, he'll lower his price, but he'll end up getting a good amount, wheras we need to spend that in other places.
Now if the price is right, than I am all for it, but it's unlikely we would get him at a good price.

    I'll repectfully take a pass.

Wouldn't it be something if Harrison ended up on the Patriots?!

although i have never thought of Marvin Harrison as a person with a big ego..i think his ego is big enough not to accept being a 3rd choice wideout for anyone..even the "mighty" pats.
