This is not an anti-Mark Sanchez thread. He may be a very good NFL QB some day.
Right now, though, he is not very good (passer rating of 56).
Now, will the media admit that they jumped the gun in annointing him after three games? Probably not.

With the media never being wrong, I'm sure he'll get a pass for a while, despite the fact that he's getting a chance to work behind arguably the best OL in the NFL, yet still floundering.
He may yet become a good NFL QB, and surprised me in the first few games, but I still think he needs a comfort zone to be effective, just like at U$C. Time will tell, but his confidence must be getting tested to the limit and yes, the annointing media is looking rather silly right now.
the fans went overboard also with him, I went to the Rams/Jets preseason game and when he threw his first pass, I think a 45 yard completion the fans talked about him as though he was the second coming,I would have loved to been sitting next to these same fans yesterday,as you guys stated he may be a very good QB someday, but it won't come easy in the big apple.
I agree with you bro. Why is everyone meat riding this guy? He's proved nothing more than just an average QB SO FAR. the emdia will make the excuse of the weather for his 5 INT's. How long can they keep making this excuse? his o-line is insanly good and he's got some talent at the WR spot. Defense have to respect Thomas Jones and Leon Washington so that should open things up for him in the pass game. Does he lead the league in INT's now? He may be up there with Jake Delhomme.
