Miami just beat NE

Wow....that's amazing. Is NE faltering? or is Miami better than they appear.

That's a big deal. If the Steelers get home field advantage, they'll be tough to beat.

Re: Miami just beat NE

I love it.

the refs sure blew the pass interference call ( or lack thereof ) just before the 4th down play. I thought for sure that the Pats would get away with another game again.

it's a good thing Miami scored on the next play or there would've been uproar in Miami.

go Steelers. kill the NE dynasty.

man I can't stand them. I hate them as much as I hate the Whiners.

Re: Miami just beat NE

I have to admit that I can't stand NE either. The weird thing is, they perform, manage and do practically everything that I want the Rams to do. I guess it's bitterness from the Super Bowl and jealousy in general.

It was sure fun to watch Joe Montana-errrrr, Tom Brady fall apart against Miami. I think Miami's not as bad as their record but they didn't really have much of a chance coming into this year. Add to that, playing in the toughest division in football and you can see the results. Feeley just might be an okay qb and if they wind up getting Edgerrin and Boston somehow finds his old all-pro form (2nd TE maybe?) the Dolphins might actually put up a fight next year.

Re: Miami just beat NE

I agree with you MOK.

I think it is jealousy from the SB ( they cheated to win- but that's another discussion ), but more importantly the fact that the team is run the way I would like to see the Rams organization run ( just as you said ).

I still think they shouldn't have either of their SB wins, but I can't change that. so, I root against them.

what else can I do?

Re: Miami just beat NE

I know the Pats D didn't have a spectacular game on the scoreboard last night, but those guys play the game in their own way. Miami was looking at something different every down.

I gotta admit, I wouldn't mind seeing Crennel bring that to St. Louis next year. But, of course, we will have to get rid of Captain Obvious first.

Re: Miami just beat NE

Anytime the Pats lose, it brings a smile to my face. My dislike for them stems not only from the Super Bowl loss, but also a couple obnoxious Boston fans that used to frequent another board I was on. So good job, Miami!

Re: Miami just beat NE

I think it had more to do with the fact that it was a division games. You see it every year with teams falling to the teams that know them best (same thing with college football). Miami is starting to get things a little better and had nothing to lose.

Pittsburgh's offense has been sputtering as of late, but they're doing enough to get the win. Hopefully when I see them in Buffalo it will be a meaningful game for both.
