Wow big-blue show some compassion, I guess you did not reply to the Thanks for the Memories : Mike Martz thread. The guy was and will always be part of our great Ram history, just the way I feel.

Re: Mike Martz on ESPN

I got to see part of the interview while I was at the gym. What caught my eye (other than the blond in bike shorts on the stairmaster) was that Martz said he WOULD be willing to take an OC job.

First time I'd heard that!

Wow, that is intersting. I wonder if the lack of interest has anything to do with it?

Maybe he lost his ego and decided to return to what he does best. He will never be a good HC IMO but he can be a good OC especially when he only has to focus on that and not all the other distractions of being a HC.

I saw the whole thing and he said he would also take a QB coaching job also.

Re: Mike Martz on ESPN

He may not want all the responsibility of the HC position. Maybe he still wants to be a Ram. He seemed sincere about his loyalty to the team.

Wow your qualification of what makes a good head coach must be pretty high. So if your team isn't in the Superbowl every year then I guess you're not a good coach??? Last time I checked Martz had a pretty decent track record with the Rams...:clanram:

Re: Mike Martz on ESPN

he did have a very good record as a head coach, but dont forget the talent he had, he may not have that on another team if he is head coach,i think a coord. is the route he should go, but whatever he does best of luck to him.
