[Mort]: Jake Plummer likely traded after this season

Just mentioned it on the ESPN Monday Night pre-show, and this is the first I've heard of it. I guess it makes sense with Cutler in the wings, but seems a bit early to already be making trade plans.

LOL

However, if Jake plays like Jake of the Cardinals, then the fans will be calling for Cutler and Shanahan may make the move. If this happens and Jake still wants to start for a team then he may request a trade in the offseason...

Re: [Mort]: Jake Plummer likely traded after this season

The rumor is that Shanahan has simplified the playbook because of Jakes troubles. I don't get it, Jakes not new to this team but does have a new OC.

Is the new OC the issue for Jake ???

Re: [Mort]: Jake Plummer likely traded after this season

Jake "The Fake" just ain't that good. Wasn't in AZ and isn't in Denver. I hope he stays in Denver and continues to drag the team down with him. Although, inserting Cutler and having him flop may seal Shanahan's fate. But I doubt Cutler would perform as bad as Plummer has looked lately. Isn't this Jake's 10th year in the league? The guy shouldn't be having the types of issues he's having again this year (bad reads, missed throws, interceptions, etc)

Re: [Mort]: Jake Plummer likely traded after this season

say what you want about him, but they did just beat the Ravens with Plummer last night and if not for our Rams they'd be undefeated...
