NFL applauds *****' actions
NEW YORK (June 1, 2005) -- The following is a statement from a league spokesman regarding current events in the San Francisco ***** organization:
"We applaud *****' owners Denise and John York for their strong public criticism of the media training video that was shown to their team last summer and for taking appropriate disciplinary action in response.
"We share their view that the video was inappropriate, offensive in every respect, and of no value whatsoever. It does not reflect the *****' values and traditions or those of the League and its member clubs."

Re: NFL applauds *****' actions
The NFL just can't help themselves, can they? This article comes from the top headline section of nfl.com. Are you kidding me? There's nothing more news worthy to the NFL than applauding the whiners for firing some guy who made a practical joke training video?
I'll never understand the love affair between the NFL and the niners."Before the gates of excellence the high gods have placed sweat; long is the road thereto and rough and steep at first; but when the heights are reached, then there is ease, though grievously hard in the winning." --- Hesiod
