The NFL Helmet Of The Future.

One ESPN writer said this may be the future nfl helmet.

Somebody that is good with photoshop please make that helmet look like a rams helmet, but with that new design.

Here you go! Kind of tough on the horns, since they wrap around the ear hole. I chose old school horns!

it is supposed to make Concussions a "Thing" of the past. meaning that concussions will no longer be a big threat.

I'm not a big fan of the design, but if it can help to prevent concussions, than I'm all for it.

Ah man...why did you have to do it? You just don't put ram horns on anything. I mean, the thing is ugly. I mean, if someone asks you to photo shop ram horns onto a pile of dog poo, you wouldn't do that too, would you?

Idk big red, I think some players would rather wear I pile of dog poo than that thing, haha. But in all seriousness, if it helps keep players heads okay, then im all for it, orlando pace coulda used this 2 years ago

Big Red Man be rest assured I would never do that. I would like the helmet to look better than that though. I hope they make these helmets so that there is an ear hole to wrap the entire horn around.

Last thing I would like to see is our Ram caricature on the helmet. Horns 4 life!

Re: The NFL Helmet Of The Future.

Times change guys. I'm sure the current helmets look ugly to Willie Lanier, and Lanier's "mohawk" helmet looks ugly to Butkus, and Butkus's looks ugly to the old leather heads like Rockne.

It's just evolution......what can ya do?

Re: The NFL Helmet Of The Future.

Some of the new features on the modern helmet:
  • IPod dock
  • Direct hands-free cell phone line to agent
  • Real-time fantasy point calculator
  • Closed circuit camera (Patriots version only)

Re: The NFL Helmet Of The Future.

It is ugly, but as long as it can help to prevent concussions, I guess we can get use to it. I just hope the horns look good on the helmet and the Rams organization doesn't decide to get rid of them.

Re: The NFL Helmet Of The Future.

I don't care how ugly it is but if it prevents concussions, there's much more beauty in that. Ramer basically summed it up for me.
