NFL Live- Five teams to make a turnaround-- John Clayton

I just saw the hype machine in action-- twofold, unfortunately.

ESPN's John Claton rated five teams to make significant turnarounds this season, five being "not too sure," one being "most likely" on NFL Live (actually broadcasted here in Aus for once) today.

    In order, they were

5- Detroit Lions, with a one game turnaround
    4- Arizona Cardinals, with two
    3- Miami Dolphins, with three
2- San Francisco *****, with three
1- Tampa Bay Buccanneers, with four.

    So, this begs the question-

How do you define a turnaround??

Are the Rams, 8-8 of last season, incapable of making a turnaround seeing as they sit in the middle ground? You'll notice that all five teams mentioned have records worse than 8-8.

I suppose a turnaround would mean to proceed in a direction opposite from the direction they are headed now?

If the Rams (or other team of your choice) had a better season than the season previous we don't want a turnaround, but a continuing improvement!

John Clayton needs his head examined and a haircut.

A one game turnaround is hardly worth mentioning. (LIONS)

There's no hair to cut :-D.

As for the rest, just ignore the media. By improvement those teams probably will only win a few more, though I have a feeling that Tampa Bay will be much better, the same feeling I had about Baltimore this time last year.

If you ask me, the Bears are most likely to make a turnaround........the wrong way, though.

The cardinals and the lions were supposed to make "turnarounds" for the past 2 yrs. How'd that work out?
