I got to go with Big Ben. Small school rookie leads the charge that topples the Evil Empire and their winning steak.

I'd have to agree with HUb that it's Roethlisberger...but honestly, I'm not sure that I'm surprised by his performance. I read quite a few articles by scouts that predicted he would be the best pro QB to come from this years' draft class, even better than Manning.

Up until the last two Steelers games I would have had to go with little ricky. But, Big Ben and the Steelers have made a believer out of me.
"...and a great new warrior emerged from the many, to carry the torch, and his name was Rammin' Jackson...and a new era had begun! Bring on the battles to come, he screamed!"

Thumbs up Re: NFL Story of the (Half) Year

Excellent headlines, Avenger. Putting my Rams pride aside for a minute, I chose the Steelers' sensation (sensation for now anyway).

I had to go with Ricky retiring. The surprising way that went down is just like the suprising way this season has gone.

I went with Drew Brees. Wow, to play like this guy has with all the turmoil around the SD QB situation is a remarkable feat.
