NFL strikes again

It seems thE NFL made you tube pull them because of "proprietary rights"
as I mentioned in another post.

I understand the need for copyrights and all, but as far as I can tell nobody was making or attempting to make money by posting these videos... so why the need to have them pulled?:x

The thing about copyrights, trademarks and trade secrets is, you can't enforce and protect them selectively. As a general rule, if you allow them to be used, even for "innocent" purposes, you can ultimately lose the right to restrict their use entirely.
