today is the anniversary of the kennedy assasination. He was killed on a friday. i believe that pete rozelle played ALL of the nlf games that following sunday, a decision that he later said was his biggest regret during his career. Can someone confirm for me that the complete nfl sked was played and that none of the game were cancelled on november 24, 1963.

Here's what I found. The NFL played it's full schedule 11/24/1963, untelevised due to uninterrupted coverage of the assassination.
