Re: NFL's Best Skill Position Trio
While I love me Rams, I believe the Saints have something very special going on now. Brees is as good if not slightly better than Bulger. McAllister/Bush tandom is better than Jackson, and Colston is younger and can play TE position for an added bonus. His receiving skill is almost as good as Holt already.
Oops...did I just blow BigDaddyPace's position out of the water? Post what you want AvengerRam.Last edited by bigredman; -06-03-2007 at 05:46 PM.

Re: NFL's Best Skill Position Trio
I tried being Objective but we have all three guys who are top 5/top 6-7 players in the NFL, no other team has that.

Re: NFL's Best Skill Position Trio
Yeah but Jackson is just one person, he is easily just as good if not much better than Deuce or Reggie. What would happen if Brian Leonard turned out well? Bulger can do all that Brees has done, and Holt is arguably one of the best pair of hands in the league.
<http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/235197> Brees
<http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/187501> Bulger
I AM NOT SAYING BULGER/BREES IS BETTER THAN THE OTHER, BUT EVEN. I mean Marc only has more TDs, less interceptions, a better rating, completetion percentage, and heck even more rushing TDs. He also has played 15 games less and has about the same number of passing yards accumulated. Do you guys remember in 2005 how well he was doing before he got injured? He was leading the league and we were shutting out the Colts on MNF 17-0 until he was injured for much of the season (and we lost that game badly which we should of had, plus we had Jamie Martin not Frerotte backing us up). It shows what he can do, and he was having a great game already.
I'm just saying Bulger is highly underrated and is just as good as most of those other guys (if not a little more).
Look at Joesph Addai I think in a year or so he would be as good as Jackson but the Colts always pass. We'll have to see how he turns out this year if he can carry the load.Last edited by prof22693; -06-04-2007 at 09:59 PM. Reason: ta-da

Re: NFL's Best Skill Position Trio
Looking at it, Manning and Harrison are as good as Bulger and Holt, but Addai isn't as good as Jackson. McNabb and Westbrook are comparable to Bulger and Jackson, but Brown isn't as good as Holt. Basically the rest of the list runs down like that. There are 2 guys who are on par, but the 3rd guy doesn't cut it.
I agree. That's really the only trio I might consider voting ahead of Bruce/Jackson/Holt
Maybe in a year or two

I didn't buy him as a quarterback. He's just so stiff, especially when he drops back to pass. Really stiff. He reminds me of Kurt Warner.

BD, you've got to stop being reasonable.......you're giving whiner fans a good name, and that just isn't acceptable around here.

I've gone with cincinatti...and I feel so so dirty.
Honestly, i think you're all betting with loaded dice. :P
I love our Rams. I love the 123 punch. I love the potential.
I think it would be interesting to see the results if we put this to a wider vote (somehow)
