Nice article on Warner
I stole this from another site so I'll post the link. I just never get tired of reading stories about classy sports figures. It seems so rare these days.

Re: Nice article on Warner
Your right Mok, stories like this are rare. It's easy to see why so many still hold this guy in such high esteem and want him to find the success he deserves.

nice article.
Warner is such a class act. we will never see a player as genuine and caring as he has been throughout his career.

Re: Nice article on Warner
Amazingly enough to me that such a man must be relegated, by certain ingratious individuals, to "he-who-shall-not-be-named" status.
It's enough to make one ashamed to share the blue and gold sometimes.

Re: Nice article on Warner
Why is this necessary? Mok posts a good thread about Warner, people respond saying it's good, and you make this post. Why don't we stick to talking about the article?

The same reason it's "necessary" for you to make YOUR comment. Why is this necessary? Mok posts a good thread about Warner, people respond saying it's good, and you make this post. Why don't we stick to talking about the article?
For some reason, you're offended at my irritation at the ingrates who want to erase Warner from Ram-dom.
You post something to express your opinion.
It's your right. I have no problem with it. Heck, I agree with the Ram fan who has come to terms with the whole situation by understanding that what happened was the best thing that could have happened... for Warner.
Meanwhile, I'm going to express my opinion as well, including my disgust for people who take every opportunity to take a shot at the ONLY QB to ever lead us to a Super Bowl victory.
That will NEVER GO AWAY. WARNER LED US TO SUPER BOWL NIRVANA!!! MARTZ DID NOT!!!! THESE ARE THE FACTS, AND THEY ARE NOT IN DISPUTE!!!
So there! LOL

Re: Nice article on Warner
I'm just saying that a nice thread about Warner didn't have to be tainted by shots at other board members, but if you can't control yourself, have at it.
Good article, Mok.

Re: Nice article on Warner
Color me SHOCKED!! Are you saying that there are other board members who... GASP... are ingratious and have relegated Warner to the "he who shall not be named" status?!?!I'm just saying that a nice thread about Warner didn't have to be tainted by shots at other board members, but if you can't control yourself, have at it.
Do tell. What kind of fiends would be such disloyal fans to the ONLY QB who ever led us to Super Bowl Nectar?
Say it isn't so, Nick! :O :O

Re: Nice article on Warner
Just to let you know ATC, we can say "Warner" over here in this section. I've been hanging out here a lot more lately because of it. And, I agree with you that the Warner fiasco is one wound that will never heal for me.
In the end, it was best for him to go, but what led to the end will always be a bur in my saddle.

Re: Nice article on Warner
Mok, thanks a ton for finding this article! I can't think of a classier sports figure than Warner. In a time when sports figures are known for drug abuse, drunk driving, cheating, even association with murderers, I can't think of anything more refreshing than reading about individuals like Warner. He gets the big picture.

Re: Nice article on Warner
after reading this article, I think the Rams should have kept him and his salary around.
the Rams definately could use his attitude in the locker room and the community. that alone is worth the millions they were paying him IMO.
what an ambassador for the game. college players please take notes.

Re: Nice article on Warner
Maybe that's why the St. Louis Fox station was showing the Giants games that he started this year. Even though Warner isn't in St. Louis anymore he still maintains his contributions to the St. Louis community. Also, I disagree that Warner's influence would be appreciated by the struggling Rams right now. I mean, wasn't it leaked to the media how bad an influence Warner was in the locker room, as well as the sideline, last year?
Who was it that reported that the Rams had to assign someone to keep Warner away from Bulger? I should have saved all those ridiculous things reported about Warner by Rams insiders and fans.

Re: Nice article on Warner
I'm not sure. I think maybe it was Balzer. If it was, I doubt he'd just make something like that up. But then again, perhaps I'm giving credit to the wrong person.
