No LT? No Rivers?
No problem.
Great game by the Bolts today. The three biggest threats on the Chargers O(LT, Rivers, Gates) not able to finish the game, or not playing 100%, yet they found a way to win. Outstanding!
I'm hopin' they take down the Pats next week.
GO BOLTS!!!

Re: No LT? No Rivers?
Good for Norv Turner and that all-around solid Chargers team. They have some amazing depth. Their defense came to play today.
Salute to Tony Dungy if that was indeed his last game as a head coach in the NFL. I've always respected him not only as a coach but also as a good man.

No LT? No Rivers?
NO WORRIES.
Kudos to both Dungy and Turner; and to Billy Volek for that great late drive.

Re: No LT? No Rivers?
It was an impressive win. The Chargers have maybe the best depth on offense of any team. No LT? Bring on Turner & Sproles. No Rivers? Put Volek in there. No Gates? Jackson & Chambers are good receiving options too. And of course their very solid O-line too (one of the best in the game IMO).
Depth is so important and often underrated because people just look at the frontline talent. Injuries happen all the time, sure we had many this year, but don't kid yourself even an average NFL season injury-wise statistically has a LOT of injuries.
My only question is, WHY the hell don't the Patriots ever have any injuries?! :x
I sure hope 21 suits up next week.

Re: No LT? No Rivers?
Impressive win, but a lucky one. There were many times where guys were dropping passes from Peyton. I understand the one drop by Reggie Wayne only because he got JACKED UP. But there were other situations that were just flat out unfortunate. Not to say Indy had the game in the bag, but let's just put it this way, I did not by any means expect this outcome.

Always and Forever a fan of the St. Louis Rams

Re: No LT? No Rivers?
I hope I'm wrong, and sorry to the San Diego backers here, but I think the Pats just got a free pass to the Superbowl.

Re: No LT? No Rivers?
The only way San Diego is going to unseat The Pats, would be to get through that Offensive Bearded, bad ass blockers, Stunt, Blitz, and do whatever possible to get to the QuarterBack and forbid him to be in his comfort zone, Find away to neutralize his quick outs. SanDiego proved they can move the ball, Payton Manning had an off day and his brother had a better day.. Sure The Chargers can win, If Brady stays home. Although I want to see the Chargers take em down..in the worst way.
In the End...The Packers are my choice to Start the rebuild of NFC domonance in the Superbowl....The Giants are good but Brett has some fire this year!
Cheerz To Everybody... Lets get the Rams Back in The Superbowl

Re: No LT? No Rivers?
San Diego cannot score with the Patriots. Not without LT.
The only team that has a legit shot at beating the Pats is the Packers.

Re: No LT? No Rivers?
All reason and statistics say the Chargers have no chance in hell, especially with thier three biggest stars on offense hobbling. But you know what they say; "on any given Sunday".
...let's hope this Sunday is that Sunday.Faithful Rams fan since 1968

Re: No LT? No Rivers?
C'MON THIS IS NOT FAIR!!! Finally a team that seems to be gelling at the right time and bang! Injuries. It is like the football gods are on the Patsies side. Everything is in place for them to gloat over their excellence with a perfect season. Their arrogance makes me sick.
Oh well I guess no more sports center for me at least til about March.
