Rip32 - is moving towards the light
Re: The Official 2006 NFL Free Agency Thread

Sage Rosenfels has reportedly agreed to a four-year, $7 million contract with the Houston Texans
The deal includes a $2 million signing bonus and has yet to be confirmed by the Texans. Any slight chance the Texans had of taking a quarterback at the top of the draft is gone. They are set with David Carr and Rosenfels.

Randle El to Redskins

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2365504

Former Steelers wide receiver Antwaan Randle El has agreed to a six-year deal with the Washington Redskins, a source familiar with the negotiations told ESPN.com's Michael Smith.

Randle El turned down a six-year, $18 million offer from the Bears that included $8 million to sign.

Re: The Official 2006 NFL Free Agency Thread

Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports free agent OG Steve Hutchinson (Seahawks) has been signed to an offer sheet worth $49 million over seven years. The deal includes $16 million in guaranteed money and holds a very high salary cap number for the first year. The Vikings are using a high cap number for the first year to prevent the Seattle Seahawks from matching the offer.

Lions sign Bradford to four-year deal

March 13, 2006

ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) -- The Detroit Lions signed free-agent wide receiver Corey Bradford to a four-year contract Monday.

Bradford spent the last four seasons with the Houston Texans, where he played under current Detroit receivers coach Kippy Brown.

Bradford played in all 16 games for the Texans last season, including six starts, and had 34 receptions for 436 yards and five touchdowns. In eight pro seasons, he has 201 receptions for 3,182 yards and 25 touchdowns in 105 games.
Why are the Lions signing more wr's? Is Charles Rogers a potential cap cut?
