Re: Our old friend Marc Bulger is now a Raven
Good for Bulger. I hope he gets a chance to play.
I'll always appreciate a guy who gave it his all for the us. Playing his final game as a Ram with a broken leg will always be an enduring memory for me.
Go get 'em Marc.

Re: Our old friend Marc Bulger is now a Raven
Congrate Marc. His career could end up like Kurt's, back-up with the Ravens and then start somewhere else next year. Just stay in the game for now. Good Luck Marc!

Re: Our old friend Marc Bulger is now a Raven
I've been wondering lately why we haven't heard or read any news on Bulger. Well this splains it. Good for him and like everyone else is saying I hope he gets a chance to play. I'd like to see him play just to find out if it was our O-Line or him hanging onto the ball too long?

Re: Our old friend Marc Bulger is now a Raven
The Ravens need to have their heads examined. Signing Bulger for that kind of money as an insurance policy is ridiculous. Anyone that thinks Bulger can fill in for Flacco should he get hurt is sadly mistaken. As Laram0 eluded to the guy takes way to many sacks that are his fault. Even the dummy Linehan complained about that. This signing is like hitting the lottery for Bulger and the Ravens were dumb enough to do it.

Bulger = CHA CHING!!!

Re: Our old friend Marc Bulger is now a Raven
What a place to sit back a collect a paycheck!
Seriously though, the amount of his contract suggests that others around the league suspected that the performance of our team didn't rest solely on this man's shoulders, as some around here would lead you to believe.
On the other hand, he could still be standing on that $60 million contract from earlier on, but I doubt that.Last edited by shower beers; -06-24-2010 at 10:14 AM.

Re: Our old friend Marc Bulger is now a Raven
Sorry but $3.8 million isn't an excessive contract for a backup. Trent Green made more as a backup to Bulger if I recall correctly. It's a one year deal to provide competition to John Beck and Troy Smith as the backup. Since Smith was demanding a trade, this seems like a good idea for them.

Re: Our old friend Marc Bulger is now a Raven
I might go to a Ravens game just to see Bulger play. I'm a Bulger supporter and will follow him even if he is on the Ravens.. Who knows, maybe Flacco wil go down and Bulger fills in and takes them to the Superbowl, then I will get to laugh at all the Bulger haters, saying I told you so!

Re: Our old friend Marc Bulger is now a Raven
Very glad for Marc, I wish him the best!
I think it's a great signing for the Ravens. Bulger, when healthy, would be able to step right in and win games for the Ravens if needed. I think he will be a lot more comfortable with a fresh start as well.

Re: Our old friend Marc Bulger is now a Raven
All the best to Marc, I hope everything works out (as previously stated by others already). I have always supported Bulger and give the man props. Playing with the cracked ribs (in I believe '08) really stuck out to me.
On a side note, now that he is in Baltimore, should Flacco ever get injured, I will be able to catch him play on TV in the area!
