The Green Bay Packers have released FB Nick Luchey.

Do you think this guy would add good depth maybe if he is for cheap?

It does not sound bad but we already have to find room for four people at TE and FB for three previous starters R. Williams, Manu, and Robinson and a promising rookie in Hedgecock. Plus with the air Martz attack we don’t even use a TE and FB every play. I suspect Manu may see sometime at FB with Hedgecock (Starting FB).

I dont think we have enough room.

I'm not sure Cletdius Hunt is a significant upgrade over any of our current starting defensive linemen, so I doubt we needed him badly.

As for Luchey, it's been two days and there's no buzz yet about interest. He had some injury issues earlier this year, and looked out of shape when he reported in May. He may be out there longer than you'd think, but it's hard to gauge what teams are looking for.

If you would have told me last fall that David Terrell would be signed by both the Pats and the Broncos because they considered him a legit option at WR for their clubs, I'd probably have laughed.
