'Pacman' Jones arrested at bar in Cincinnati

Bengals cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones was arrested early Sunday morning at a Cincinnati-area bar for disorderly conduct while intoxicated and resisting arrest, according to multiple media reports.

Jones, 27, was booked into jail around 3 a.m., after officers tried to calm him and then attempted to get him into handcuffs. Cincinnati’s WKRC-TV reports Jones was waving his arms violently and shouting profanities.

The Hamilton County Justice Center confirmed with the TV station that Jones was booked into the jail just after 3 a.m.

In February, Jones was sentenced to a year of probation and 200 hours of community service for his role in a 2007 shooting in Las Vegas.

Jones has been arrested six times and been involved in several other noted police interventions, according to multiple media reports.

Jones has played sporadically since being drafted by the Tennessee Titans in 2005 — he played only five games for the Bengals in 2010 before being placed on injured reserve with a neck injury and was suspended by the Dallas Cowboys for half of the 2008 season because of an alcohol-related incident.
