peyton manning

I cant understand the thinking behind letting peyton manning sit back in the pocket all day long. THe colts offense is like the gsot, minus faulk. Thats of course a HUGE minus, but even still, the point is the same. Whenever teams let warner sit in the pocket without getting pressure on him, he just picked them apart and killed them. The teams that were succesful defensively against the gsot, namely the giants and tampa, were the teams that could get pressure up the middle and collapse the pocket with the front four.

Blitzing a guy like manning with his weapons is an accident waiting to happen. But better an accident waiting to happen than a guaranteed train wreck, which is what you get when you cant/dont pressure him. Denver of all teams, with champ bailey who took harrison out of the game himself, should be willing to take risks and go after manning. How much worse can you do than give up points in 7 of 8 drives and every drive in the second half anyway!

ramming speed to all

Re: peyton manning

How dumb was it for the Patriots to let Mr. Clutch go to the Colts? Adam Vinatieri comes through again.
