Peyton Manning ( No excuses )
The Colts and Peyton Manning will be playing their nemisis the New England Patriots this Sunday. Everything seems to be in line for the Colts. They will be playing at home. Their defense has only allowed 14 points in 2 playoff games this year. They have Adam Vinatieri.
The one negative I see is Marty Dungy/ Tony Shottenheimer.....
Peyton won't sleep much this week knowing this is the MONKEY that's been riding his back.

Re: Peyton Manning ( No excuses )
Nooooooooooo! I don't want the Patsies in the SB. I almost don't want to watch if they are in. Maybe if the NFC has a chance, but doubt it.

Go Peyton! This is your time to win -- at least the AFC ... please! Keep N.E. out.

Re: Peyton Manning ( No excuses )
Let's see, we get to watch either the Dolts and their whinning ("It's never my fault") quarterback, or the Patsies and Brady, AGAIN. :x
I knew the Chargers were doomed yesterday when the telecast showed the stat about the Patsies beating 4 previous MVP's in the playoffs since 1999. Who were they playing yesterday? ..or course, MVP LT. Game over.
Then we have the NFC representatives.
Da Bears, or the Aints. Gawd shoot me now.
Actually, I'm gonna pull for the team that's never been to the show. It's a good story if nothing else. As for this weekend, I'd love to see the Colts kicker Vinateri (sp?) miss a game winner this weekend. I can see it now... camera quickly locks onto Peyton as the kick sails wide right. Peyton is seen smirking and saying; "he missed it".Faithful Rams fan since 1968

Re: Peyton Manning ( No excuses )
i can see the colts beating the pats
in previous years the colts have stormed through their opening playoff game with ease, such as the destruction of Denver a few years back, but then they struggled when they met the Pats. This year the Colts offense has struggled so far in the playoffs, and i expect them to go back to their old ways against the Pats.

Re: Peyton Manning ( No excuses )
Peyton Manning in Heaven:
Peyton Manning, after living a full life, died. When he got to heaven, God was showing him around. They came to a modest little house with a faded Colts flag in the window. "This house is yours for eternity, Peyton," said God. "This is very special; not everyone gets a house up here."
Peyton felt special, indeed, and walked up to his house. On his way up the porch, he noticed another house just around the corner. It was a 3-story mansion with a silver and blue sidewalk, a 50-foot tall flagpole with an enormous Patriots logo flag, and in every window, a New England Patriots towel.
Peyton looked at God and said "God, I'm not trying to be ungrateful, but I have a question. I was an all-pro QB, I hold many NFL records, and I even went to the Hall of Fame."
God said " So what's your point Peyton?"
Well, why does Tom Brady get a better house than me?"
God chuckled, and said:
"Peyton, that's not Tom's house, it's mine."
GO PATRIOTS!!!

Re: Peyton Manning ( No excuses )
I say since the Saints got this far, I want to see them get it. After all thats happened, it seems like they're destined for the Superbowl title, that would be such a great thing for the people of New Orleans. Funny how a football team can lift the spirits of so many. I hope they win it.

Always and Forever a fan of the St. Louis Rams
