    PFW Tidbit on former Rams tight end Dominique Byrd

    From Pro Football Weekly's Whispers segment...

    Word is the Cardinals' coaches continue to be intrigued by former Rams TE Dominique Byrd, who has been catching the ball well and, more importantly, blocking much better than anyone expected.
    Byrd was signed to a one-year deal by the Cardinals in May.

    He didn't look too bad in the Cardinals' pre-season game I watched. Even if he makes the roster, though, I doubt he has much of an impact.
