    Please don't shoot the messenger

    Kris Jenkins - #77 - Defensive tackle - 6'4" - 335lbs

News: The Charlotte Observer's Tom Sorensen agrees with Panthers beat writer Steve Reed that Kris Jenkins won't return to the team this season.

Impact: Jenkins wants a new contract and the Panthers are not open to revising his deal. St. Louis could still be interested in the nose tackle for the right price. (Sun. Jul 15, 2007)

    335 lbs, now that's funny.

So two Panthers writers agree that Jenkins won't be back. No new news there.

The Rams could be interested, and Jenkins could be eating so much that he could become a permanent part of his couch. Who knows.

The fact that Damione Lewis took snaps away from this guy isn't very comforting.

Only FOR THE RIGHT PRICE and only if he MAKES THE TEAM BETTER and KEEPS HIS NOSE CLEAN...

    Not necessarily in THAT order.

    BANG!

Oh well... we as fans can't do anything. Let's hope they consentrate on signing BULGER rather than blowing some more of the bank on Jenkins.

I think Jenkins' price has went down from last time this was brought up. The Panthers see that we all know he's out of shape, so we shouldn't give up much for him.

Somtimes a change of scenery does wonders for a player.
