i like Patriots and Denver in the AFC. In the NFC since I can't pick the Rams I'll go with Carolina and Philly.

This isn't going to sit well with most, but I've got to say the Hawks. They fought through injuries last year, and were only one game from hoisting the trophy. They added Peterson and Burleson which should help each side of the ball. The loss of Hutchinson will hurt, but I think they still have enough firepower to wind up on top.

You know, I have a sneaky feeling it's going to be someone out of the blue. Who that is currently I just don't know.

Re: At this point..who you tipping to be superbowl champs 07??

the redskins overpay players way too much and then the players dont have an incentive to play(see year 2001 when the signed chad morton, laverneus coles, hall, etc.) by trading and signing for a bunch of good veterans doesnt always mean championships( see the lakers people with shaq, kobe, payton, and malone)...

the broncos o-line is one year too old now with lepsis, neil getting up there in age...

the bears are going to fall of the face of football planet like when the made the playoffs in 2002 under dick jauron then didnt do anything thing for 3more years...

patriots have lost way too many veterans to be talking playoffs even... the phins are better, the jets will be beat them once this year, and the bills will be better as well

cards and the same ole cardinals... they still have a losing swagger and their linebackers are suspect other than dansby...plus not to mention the o-line...

I disagree with the Jets, sure they got a good blocker, but to block who? They don't have a QB...

But he comes with a lot of question marks. The biggest one being his rotator cuff. He's had two surgeries on his right shoulder in a year, and that's like monkeying around with knee surgery on a running back....touch-and-go at best.

Is he healthy, can he throw at 100% (he started throwing a little in March)? The Jets will have to answer these questions before August or they're in trouble.

I really like the Redskins this year. Yes, Brunell is old, but they added some solid players to that offense. Archuleta was a great addition to an already great defense. Losing Arrington wont hurt very badly because he wasnt a starter anyway.

They're my favorite in the East and my favorite to win it all. Al Saunders is going to make that offense deadly.
The Roman and The Prince. Playmakers until the end.

Look for the Eagles in 41.

Great, suffocating defense. Added Bunkley to replace Corey Simon. Drafted a solid tackle and a road-grader guard in Winston Justice and Max-Jean Giles. Got a sleeper in DE Chris Gocong and 2 potential stud WR's Jason Avant and Jeremy Bloom. Acquired rising star DE Howard, solid TE Schobel, and always dependable backup QB Jeff Garcia. They are getting back a healthy Donovan Mcnabb, who alone will put you in the mix, and Westbrook should get more touches and success with all the improvements on the O-line. Last but definitely not least, there is no T.O. to shake things up.
