Question to Bettis on Fox Pregame

Here's a question that they asked to Jerome Bettis on Fox Pregame:

If I told you at an early age that you would become an NFL player but at the age of 35 you would walk with a limp, at the age of 40 you would walk with a cane, and at the age of 50 you would have difficulty walking period, would you still do it?

He said yes. Can't say I wouldn't have expected any other answer. Because living in Austin, I've had the absolute awesome privilege of sitting down in Earl Campbell's BBQ joint which used to be on 6th Street here and having a few beers with Earl. What a wonderful human being this guy is. Geniune as they come. However, he can barely walk. He told me that taking a simple step is more painful than any hit he ever took or delivered in the NFL.

And we complain when they fumble or miss a tackle.

Like I said... they make that choice.... Just like a boxer choose to step in the ring.
