R.I.P. Romomentum
A botched hold by Tony Romo on a "gimme" field goal just ended the season for Dallas. Wow, can't wait to hear what T.O. has to say.

Wow, from media darling on top of the world to the butt of jokes. Not sure how much further Romomentum was going to go anyway.

Re: R.I.P. Romomentum
It is our duty to ridicule the Cowgirls. Remember all the trouble they caused us in the 70's?

Re: R.I.P. Romomentum
Unbelievable game. The one thing I came away from that game thinking is that neither of those teams are that good.

Re: R.I.P. Romomentum
I sure do. Even now, the refs and the announcers are constantly giving them every break and puffing them up. I listened to the game on the radio, and it got to the point to where the announcers were trying to give the Cowboys extra downs, wrongly called a first down they didn't get, and ev en AFTER the botched fg snapped stated confidently "Of course with three time outs the Cowboys will get the ball back again.", as if the Seahawks were incapable of getting a first down even with conservative play-calling (indeed, the first play from the 2 yard line went 20 yards. Yippee!)
The best part of the game? Seattle did not so much win it as Dallas very definitely, completely, and without external assistance LOST IT!!

Re: R.I.P. Romomentum
On the replay, if martin gramatica would have had a better block on the guy that tackled Romo, I think Romo would have gotten in the Endzone/ Fisrt Down, Im glad the Rams have Dane Looker as the Holder because he's way faster than the QBs that hold the ball.

Re: R.I.P. Romomentum
i had the same thought and i am already tired of hearing about this guy, he had a great Thanksgiving day game and thats pretty much it,the Cowboys lost 4 of there last 6,so how good is romo really ? pro bowl player, what a joke, equal to vick making the pro bowl last season.

Re: R.I.P. Romomentum
In ten regular season starts he had four games with a 100+ QB rating. He finished the season with a 65.3% completion percentage, had 19 touchdowns, and a season QB rating of 95.1. Not too shabby for an undrafted free agent. Even though people really went over the top with him, I'd hardly minimize his year down to one good game either.
Not many other NFC quarterbacks who made a case to go in over him, though.

Re: R.I.P. Romomentum
That game perfectly summarized the lucky season the shehawks are having, with everything going there way when they need it to. Unless Grossman hands them the game, the are gonna get smoked.
